MIND THE LANE — PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: July 19, 2026

Last Updated: July 19, 2026

1. Overview

Mind the Lane (the “App”) is a local-first memory-practice game for iOS. The App was previously developed under the working name Emoji Lane Run, which is still used in some project and policy URLs.

The App does not require an account. Cankat Saraç (the “Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) does not operate an application backend and does not receive your gameplay history, profile, device identifier, or usage analytics.

This policy explains the information the App stores on your device, the limited circumstances in which information can leave your device, and your choices.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information in its private iOS app storage:

This information is used only to provide the App’s gameplay, progress, personalization, reporting, and sharing features. It is processed on your device and is not transmitted to the Developer.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Through the App

The current version contains no developer-operated backend, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or AI service. Through the App, we do not collect:

We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across apps or websites.

4. When Information Can Leave Your Device

4.1 Sharing you initiate

The App can create a result card or report from locally stored information. A file leaves the App only when you choose the Share action and select a person, app, or service through Apple’s system share sheet. The selected recipient or service will receive the content you choose to share and will handle it under its own terms and privacy practices. We do not receive a copy and cannot delete copies held by you or the selected recipient.

4.2 Apple services

Apple processes information needed to download the App and may process App Store transaction or entitlement information under Apple’s own privacy policy. The Developer does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.

The version covered by this policy does not activate Game Center or submit scores to a Game Center leaderboard. If a future version enables Game Center, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before that data practice takes effect.

Apple’s privacy policy is available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

4.3 Support communications

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and any information you include in the message. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, keep reasonable support records, and comply with legal obligations. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your request. Our email provider processes these communications on our behalf.

5. Retention and Deletion

App data remains in the App’s private storage until iOS removes it or you uninstall the App. Files prepared for sharing may remain in the App’s temporary storage until iOS clears them or the App is uninstalled. Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored data from that device, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.

The Developer cannot retrieve or delete your on-device data because we do not receive it. You can view available gameplay and progress information inside the App. If you share a file, you must manage or delete the shared copy through the recipient or service you selected.

Support emails are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Apple retains information it controls according to its own policies.

6. Security

On-device information is kept within the App’s iOS storage container and is protected by the security features of your device and iOS. No method of storage is completely secure, so you should protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.

7. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country. The App does not transmit gameplay or profile data to the Developer. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a child and should supervise any information the child chooses to share outside the App.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or complaint to a data-protection authority. Because the Developer does not receive or control your on-device App data, we cannot identify, access, correct, or delete it remotely. You control that data through the App, your device, and by uninstalling the App.

For personal information contained in a support communication, you may contact us to exercise any rights that apply to you. We may need enough information to verify and process the request.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the App or applicable requirements change. We will revise the Last Updated date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App or through the App Store. We will update this policy before introducing a materially different data practice.
