By downloading, installing, or using the PlantMedic mobile application (“App”) you agree to be bound by these Terms (“Terms”). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Cankat Saraç.
PlantMedic is informational. It is not:
The on-device disease classifier may be incorrect. Treatment plans are general reference guidance, not personalized recommendations. If a misdiagnosis or wrong treatment could harm a valuable crop, a sensitive ecosystem, a pet, or a person, consult a qualified professional. Use of any pesticide, fungicide, herbicide, or fertilizer must follow the product label and applicable local laws.
PlantMedic identifies common plant diseases from a photograph using an on-device TensorFlow Lite classifier and suggests reference treatment plans drawn from a bundled SQLite database.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PlantMedic, or 16 in the European Economic Area unless you have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
You retain ownership of the plant photographs you capture. The App stores them on your device along with classification history. We do not access them.
PlantMedic is offered free of charge in this version. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in future releases.
The App, including code, design, classifier weights, treatment-plan content, copy, brand, and bundled databases, is the intellectual property of Cankat Saraç (or its licensors, where third-party reference content is incorporated and credited). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer the classifier or extract its weights for redistribution; you may not extract the bundled treatment-plan database for redistribution.
You agree not to use PlantMedic to violate any law (including pesticide-application laws), reverse-engineer or extract the on-device model or database, or use the App for any commercial decision in violation of Section 2.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CANKAT SARAÇ, HIS AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PLANTS, CROPS, PROPERTY, PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $10, OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cankat Saraç and his affiliates from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the App in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including any claim arising from your application of a treatment suggested by the App.
The App integrates with the Apple App Store / Google Play Store. Each is governed by its own terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. Material changes are communicated via in-app notice. You may terminate by uninstalling.
Laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Binding individual arbitration under ISTAC, Istanbul, Türkiye, in English. You waive class actions.
Proceedings may be brought in your country of residence.
Proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland as applicable.
Entire agreement. These Terms + Privacy Policy. Severability. Unenforceable parts severed. Waiver. Failure to enforce is not waiver. Assignment. You may not; we may to a successor.
If obtained via Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Cankat Saraç only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible; no maintenance/support obligation; on warranty failure Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); we (not Apple) handle product-liability and IP claims; you represent you are not in a US-embargoed country and not on any US prohibited-parties list; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries.
