Introduction

Spot the Swap is a local-first visual comparison and brain-training game. It does not operate a user account or application backend.

1. INFORMATION WE HANDLE

1.1 Stored locally on your device

Household profile names and emoji avatars that you create.
Scores, coins, themes, boosters, streaks, achievements, and session history.
Preferences and local notification choices.
Reports, challenge codes, and share cards while prepared for sharing.

This information remains local unless you choose to share content through Apple’s system share sheet.

1.2 Optional Apple services

Game Center: Apple processes your Game Center identity, leaderboard scores, and achievements if you use those features.
StoreKit: Apple processes payment, transaction, and subscription data for Swap Pro and coin packs. We receive only the entitlement needed to provide purchased features.
Local notifications: If you allow reminders, the App schedules them on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server.

Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s services.

1.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect names beyond the local profile label you enter, email, contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or browsing history. The current version has no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, Firebase, Supabase, AI relay, or user-data backend.

Challenge codes, reports, text, and images are sent only when you invoke the system share sheet. The recipient or service you select controls subsequent use.

3. CHILDREN

The game is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable local age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

4. RETENTION AND YOUR RIGHTS

Local data remains until you delete it in the App, reset the App, or uninstall it. Notification permission can be withdrawn in Apple Settings. Apple retains store and Game Center records under its own policies. EEA, UK, and California residents may contact us about applicable privacy rights.
